Monitoring Reports

& Surveys

To help ensure that Danes Park supports sustainable travel and meets the needs of the local community, regular monitoring and travel surveys will be carried out throughout the development’s early years.

These surveys are an important part of the Travel Plan and allow us to gather valuable feedback on how residents are travelling, how well current transport options are working, and where improvements may be needed. The results help shape future transport initiatives and guide local investment.

Why We Monitor Travel Patterns

Monitoring helps us:

  • Understand how residents are commuting or accessing local services
  • Identify any challenges with public transport, walking, cycling, or driving
  • Improve travel options and encourage more sustainable choices
  • Meet agreed planning and sustainability commitments

Your participation plays a vital role in helping us build a community that is connected, accessible, and responsive to real-life travel habits.

Upcoming Surveys

Surveys will typically be conducted one year after first occupation, and then again at key stages as the development grows. Residents will be contacted directly when a survey is due, and participation is quick and easy, usually just a short online questionnaire.

Monitoring Reports

As survey data is collected and analysed, summary reports will be made available here for residents and stakeholders to review. These reports will highlight travel trends, changes over time, and any actions being taken as a result.
