Our Vision

for Danes Park

At Pennyfarthing Homes, the vision for Danes Park is to create a thriving, inclusive community where people of all ages can feel at home.

Pennyfarthing Homes is committed to delivering thoughtfully designed homes, generous green spaces, and lasting contributions to local infrastructure that will benefit New Milton for years to come.

Danes Park is more than just a new development; it’s a place where community spirit can flourish. The aim is to balance modern living with the natural beauty of the area, ensuring that residents enjoy a high quality of life alongside strong connections to the wider community and environment.

Our Vision

History & Heritage

Danes Park forms part of a long-term vision that began with Pennyfarthing Homes’ acquisition of the site.

Having been allocated for development in the New Forest District Council’s local plan in 2020, planning permission was granted in 2024. The development represents one of the largest affordable housing initiatives in the area, built on years of collaboration between Pennyfarthing and local authorities to create a place that reflects both heritage and future needs.

Our Vision

The Development

Danes Park is a landmark new community in New Milton, delivering 164 thoughtfully designed homes with a strong emphasis on green space, connectivity, and long-term liveability.

With 50% affordable housing and half the site dedicated to open space and landscaping, the development reflects a balanced vision of quality, accessibility, and community. Set in a prime location between the New Forest and the coast, Danes Park offers a lifestyle that’s both well-connected and naturally enriching.

Our Vision

Sustainability

Danes Park has been thoughtfully designed to promote sustainable living through a strong focus on green space, biodiversity, and energy efficiency.

With around half of the development dedicated to public open space, landscaped areas, and natural habitats, the development encourages outdoor lifestyles and environmental responsibility. Homes are built to modern energy standards, and the layout includes footpaths and cycle links to support active travel and reduce car dependency.
